The reporter learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. that on June 20, after four years of reconstruction and expansion, Beijing Fengtai station, a century old station, will be put into operation with a new look.
It is
worth noting that the newly reconstructed Fengtai station will adopt photovoltaic power generation system, natural lighting system and natural ventilation system, which can greatly save construction investment and energy consumption for future operation.
Among them, the green electricity generated by the photovoltaic power generation project is for self use. It is estimated that 165000 tons of carbon dioxide, 5160 tons of sulfur dioxide and 2580 tons of nitrogen oxides can be reduced within the 25 year
design cycle.
It is understood that the comprehensive energy service project of Fengtai station is specifically implemented by Jingneng international, a subsidiary of Beijing energy group. By laying advanced photovoltaic modules
on the roof of the station building, the solar energy (8.280, 0.14, 1.72%) is converted into electric energy to provide green energy for lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation, passenger elevator and cold storage in the station.
The person in charge of the distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Beijing Fengtai station of Jingneng International said that under the background of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, if the railway station wants to reduce carbon emissions
and promote the development of green transportation, one way is to buy green electricity and the other way is to build green power generation projects. Fengtai station building is a large-scale steel structure, with a total roof area of about 64000 square
meters and a photovoltaic module layout area of about 31800 square meters. According to the introduction, the installed capacity of the photovoltaic power generation project is about 6.5 MW, and the total power generation in 25 years is expected to be
about 176million kwh, with an average annual power generation of 7million kwh.
According to the data, Fengtai Railway Station has a long history and was built in 1895. It has served many lines, such as the old Beijing Zhangjiakou
Railway, Beijing Guangzhou railway, Beijing Shanghai railway, etc. until 2010, the transportation business was stopped, and the reconstruction and expansion project was implemented in September 2018. The reconstructed Fengtai station is the first super
large station in China to adopt the overlapping design of high-speed railway and ordinary railway double-layer parking lot. Two subway lines, namely, Metro Line 10 and metro line 16, are introduced to form a three-dimensional traffic mode of "top-level
high-speed railway, ground ordinary railway and underground railway", which facilitates passengers to "seamlessly" transfer to urban traffic.
After the official operation, Beijing Fengtai Railway Station will be deeply integrated
with Beijing railway station, Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station and other railway hubs to further optimize the road network structure and passenger station layout, providing a strong guarantee for optimizing the capital's transportation
structure and improving the capital's comprehensive transportation system.
